Clara took photos of me and my husband in our home around Valentine’s Day. They’re the best photos of us ever taken. Every time I look at these photos I am reminded of her patience and ability to blend into the background and let her clients show her who they are so she can capture the moment instead of create it. Clara researched poses and created a Pinterest board in advance so that she was prepared to show us how to pose if we needed. She worked with changing lighting, the outdoor elements, our dogs and shifting tones of the indoors/outdoors with poise. I used these photos on my wedding website and announcements and got many compliments on how accurately they captured our love.

Clara also took family portraits of my extended Indian family in our traditional clothing in my yard, which is a huge feat. Not only did she navigate the chaos of opinions and adults with grace, but she also diffused enthusiasm through the group. Because of her energy, the pictures were full of life and love and warmth. Just like family portraits should be.
